Sister was our foundation bitch.  Sister did everything I asked her to do with a wag of her tail and a gleam in her eye.  She and I  walked together into 100s of obedience and agility rings and  loved every minute of it.  She and I ran 100s of miles of trail together.  She lived up to her name in everything that she did, from being one of  the first three Alaskan Malamutes to earn the title of Master Agility Champion (MACH)  to being the only Alaskan Malamute to have earned an AKC UDX2 title and a UKC U-D title.   She did  it all from  running with my small sled team, to visiting schools and nursing homes, or just rolling over for a belly rub at home.   In addition to all her accomplishments in the ring and on the trail, Sis  gave me her two of her wonderful offspring: Atka and Lia, and now her grand puppy, Aura, her great grandson, Bootstrap and more great grand pups on the way. We lost Sis in the summer of 2010, on her 13th birthday.    I am always grateful to Roy and Sue Fuller of Mountain Home Alaskan Malamutes for sending me Sister. She lives on in the current Arcticdawn pack and I see it everyday.
